training3India Dance Wales has over 30 years professional experience in delivering popular and award-winning dance training programmes.

Classes start at beginner level and students can progress up to professional level.

  • Participants can benefit not only from physical dance but if interested, can also have the opportunity for holistic understanding of this beautiful art form to include music and theory.
  • The holistic training gives the participants the option of sitting ISTD (Imperial Society of teachers of Dance) examinations from primary levels all the way through to credited vocational qualifications. These qualifications also carry UCAS points for University entrances. Current dance students 100% pass mark achieving excellent Grades. India Dance Wales' students were one of the first in the world to complete the Vocational qualifications who are now registered as qualified teachers with ISTD.
  • India Dance Wales provide many performance opportunities for their students.
  • Our Annual Student Gala performance has nearly 100 dancers performers and is increasing every year. The student performing group, 'Shishya' also perform at many local and community events.

  2.  None or minimal everyday wear jewelery only.
  3. Classical Dance Practice sari or Simple, comfortable Panjabi suite with trousers that allow comfortable full sitting and should be narrow enough at the ankles not to come under the feet while dancing.
